BRICKS & BLOCKS MIYOTA sits at the foot of Mount Asama, in the heart of Miyota town.
A 5-minute walk from Miyota Station, it is a modern building renovated from a former dentist's residence.
A simple layout that offers a glimpse of life in days past, paired with furnishings from around the world and across the ages that lend a faintly exotic air—together weaving a comfortable space. Through the windows you can see a garden that shows the colors of each season, and the mountains beyond.
An extension of everyday life, yet a little special. Enjoy time that flows more slowly than usual, however you please.
Just 15 minutes by train from Karuizawa—perfect as a base for exploring the surrounding area or venturing a little farther for sightseeing.

We offer five guest rooms, simply appointed yet arranged for a comfortable stay. Depending on your style, companions, and group size, you can choose from Japanese-style, Japanese-Western, and Western rooms—or book the whole house for larger groups.
On the grounds there is a small garden to enjoy through the seasons and an on-site coffee roasting stand, so you can relax and take your time.
From a base for sightseeing around Nagano to a spot for work or a long stay while preparing to relocate—we hope it becomes a place where you can unwind and live as if at home.

Day: Café & Shop — Enjoy house-roasted coffee, lunch dishes such as our original spice curry, and sweets. Inside you'll find a wide selection of works by local creators, antiques, and food items.
Night: Sakaba Kado — A bar serving a range of drinks and snacks, plus occasional music and community events.
For booked rooms we provide an area map and a drink ticket usable at CORNER SHOP MIYOTA. Please check the opening hours and feel free to stop by.

Our facility is equipped with smart locks, so guests check in and out themselves. Check-in: 15:00–20:00 | Check-out: until 11:00

Our facility does not have a dedicated parking lot, but there is a municipal parking lot a 1-minute walk away.
If you have luggage, it is convenient to first unload it at the temporary parking inside the building (within 15 minutes), and then head to the municipal parking lot.

- Do you provide meals?

BRICKS & BLOCKS MIYOTA does not offer meals or room service. Please check the opening hours of our sister shop (CORNER SHOP MIYOTA) and feel free to visit. In addition to its café, lunch, and bar (Sakaba) service, it offers a variety of items such as Nagano souvenirs.
